Hamilton’s Mercedes (pictured) is in 2nd place for tomorrow’s Canadian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton may have managed to make it four front rows in a succession, but it’s Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who has taken pole position in a rain soaked Montreal for tomorrow’s 2013 F1 Canadian Grand Prix. Early on in qualifying Hamilton and Rosberg dominated in the Mercedes, but the Red Bulls started to show their pace and in Q2 they were at the top of the leaderboard. Felipe Massa managed to crash in Q2 and Button, held up in the pit lane whilst the accident was cleared, couldn’t manage to get across the start-finish line in time to do another lap, crashing out in Q2 and 12th palce on tomorrow’s grid.
Mitsubishi ASX Black launches - with satin black styling upgrades
It’s just over a year since we reviewed the Mitsubishi ASX, Mitsubishi’s new offering in the compact SUV / crossover market. And we thought it a decent effort from Mitsubishi, if a little generic and a little bland. So the news that Mitsubishi has launched a new version of the ASX – the Mitsubishi ASX Black – is welcome, as its upgrades answer many of the criticisms we levelled at the 2WD ASX 3 1.8 Diesel we reviewed last year.
The winners of the 2007 World Automotive Design Competition (WADC), sponsored by Autodesk, were announced at the 2007 Canadian International Auto Show in February. The competition was relaunched in 2007 with a few new twists created to meet the needs of the global automotive industry. The fifth WADC strived to provide manufacturers worldwide with a source of new automotive design talent and to encourage design students, and especially women, to choose a career in automotive design.
